| Historic Newark is only about 11 miles away from Beckhead Park and buses stop right at the top of Haze Lane (Park entrance). We like Newark for shopping as it still has plenty of small friendly and helpful shops - Purchases may still be supplied in brown paper bags with a polite "Thank you" - a dying social grace!
