New units (Single or Twin) with 10 year warranty fully furnished and ready to move into. Driveway and store shed included as standard. Prices vary based on your own preference of model but starting at around £75,000 ready to move in. Available plots may be reserved and a 'First Refusal' £1,000 deposit is returnable unless you change your mind. Please ask for more details. This enables you to see just what is available in the show homes before you make your choices. Alternatively we offer our own hand crafted homes which may incorporate your own ideas (Subject to B.S.3632 approval requirement) and although more expensive than ordinary homes they do offer the opportunity for you to have a personal design you may have always wanted. Why consider one of our homes instead of one from the larger manufacturers? We are able to offer you what we can demonstrate to be a superb build quality with design changes to your preferences (which costs more to build). It's like having a suit made to measure - we make sure you are comfortable. Come and see us - We are sure you will be pleased with what you discover. There are many special features such as heated wardrobes, a floor which feels as solid as concrete, superb finish and our usual high standard of service. All this and incorporate your own ideas if you wish. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- We build our homes carefully by hand (For this reason we are unable to give firm building completion dates) but it takes us approximately 6 months from start to finish. You may visit at any time during the build. There are thousands of screws in our homes. They are not nailed together - everything is screwed and glued and that's unique as far as we know!! Our own 'Super Floor' sets standards in strength and rigidity and our walls are so strong that they allow the fixing of cupboards or a Plasma Screen TV for instance, virtually anywhere.. We only fit genuine Decra Tiled Roofs with 30 years warranty. All of our own work is also guaranteed for 10 years. All fittings, fixtures and materials have the full manufacturers/suppliers warranty as standard. We have fitted Pilkington 'K' glass as standard for years.
We have introduced a fair system for reserving one of our new homes. How does the reservation system operate? When you have visited us and decided that you like what we are doing you may secure your position on the waiting list by paying a £1,000 deposit - You may have a house for sale for example, or you may be waiting for a loan to be offered by a bank. At that point we will spend as long as required to ensure that you are entirely happy with the design of your home. When you are ready for the build to start you pay the balance of your initial payment (i.e. using the £1,000 previously paid deposit towards the initial payment). We begin construction as soon as possible and require a further payments before completion with any final payment made 14 days before completion of the construction of your new home. Your home is available for occupation approximately 2 to 4 weeks after the home's manufacture is completed. This period allows us time to prepare the new plot with some flexibility in case of bad weather. What if I am not immediately able to proceed when J.Carlisle are ready to arrange the ordering or building work? If you have paid your £1,000 deposit and another customer comes along in a position to make their initial payment we offer you the opportunity to make your initial payment then. If you are unable to do this we reserve the right to accept the new purchasers initial payment and to supply a home for them instead. If the new customer should be able to proceed when you could not you have the choice of us either returning your £1,000 or to transfer the deposit for a place in the waiting list for another home. If no other plot was likely to be available we would automatically return your deposit in any case. What if I can't wait any longer or change my mind? This is the only time that you could lose your deposit. This is because we will already have spent considerable time and resources on your specific design, drawing and ordering processes. We will aslo have been carrying any lost pitch fee income. We feel that this proven system is the fairest way for everyone concerned. Price guarantee As soon as your initial payment (Not the £1,000 deposit) is made we guarantee to fix the price with you - no matter what price increases we may suffer. Because we guarantee to fix the price you agree to complete the purchase with an agreement/order. How long is the list? We keep our 'Deposit Paid' reservation list as short as possible (usually no more than 2 customers). We will not take payment other than an initial deposit from anyone who is not in a financial situation to complete the purchase. This means that no one can jump position in the waiting list by offering to pay us a larger amount. You will always know exactly what is happening and we will always be open and honest in all aspects of your home purchase. Our reputation has been paramount since 1952.
