Pitch Fees for Beckhead Park are still at the same level (on reality) that they were in 1963. Increases have not been made other than for inflation over the years. Water fees are calculated on the average consumption over the previous 2 years on a rolling basis and calculated using the governments new required method which takes account of the number of occupiers in each home. Our Pitch Fees (until May 2008) are: All sizes of home - £25.45/week Plus Water/Sewage charges The cost per week including water is therefore: 1 person occupying a home - £28.32 2 persons - £29.28 3 persons - £30.25 Road improvement share: 82 pence extra. This charge expires in a few years. It is included because although the park roads are always properly maintained we wondered if they might benefit from being widened and residents gardens made larger at the same time. Almost 100% of residents voted for the upgrade 5 years ago and we borrowed the enormous capital required on behalf of the residents. This charge is the shared repayment of the cost. Payment of Pitch Fees is made by Standing Order which is calculated on a calendar monthly basis. |
